The Handy Bro respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to our website at www.thehandybro.life, our online estimate and contact forms, our text messaging program, and the services we provide.
1. Who We Are

We are a mobile service business and do not operate a public storefront. A mailing address is available on request by phone or email.
2. Information We Collect
Information you give us directly:
- Name, phone number, and email address
- Service address and property details
- A description of the work you need, including photos you send us
- Appointment and service history
- Payment information, processed by our payment provider (see Section 5)
- Notes from calls, texts, and emails with us
Information collected automatically when you visit our website:
- IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
- Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the site
- Whether you arrived from a Google ad, a search result, Yelp, Thumbtack, Instagram, or a direct link
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6)
We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to respond to estimate requests and schedule appointments; confirm bookings and send appointment and arrival reminders; perform the work you hire us for; send quotes, invoices, receipts, and payment reminders; provide customer support; follow up after a job and ask for feedback or a review; keep a record of past work at your property so future jobs go smoothly; measure and improve our website and advertising; and meet legal, tax, insurance, and accounting obligations.
4. Text Messages (SMS)
When you give us your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from The Handy Bro related to your service. These may include estimate responses, appointment confirmations, reminders and arrival notifications, quotes, invoices and payment reminders, scheduling updates, follow-ups, and customer support replies. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.
Message frequency varies with your activity — generally 2–6 messages per job or estimate request. Message and data rates may apply.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third party, except with the subcontractors and vendors that help us deliver the messaging service.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Field service software: We use Jobber to manage estimate requests, scheduling, quotes, invoices, and client communication. Information you submit through our website forms is stored in Jobber.
- Payment processor: Card and bank payments are handled by our payment provider, which receives the information needed to process your payment. We do not store full card numbers.
- Communication providers: Our text messages and emails are delivered through third-party providers acting on our behalf.
- Helpers and subcontractors: If a job requires additional help, we may share the name, address, and job details needed to complete the work.
- Advertising and analytics providers: See Section 6.
- Professional advisors and legal compliance: Our accountant, insurer, or attorney, or where required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
- Business transfer: If our business is sold or merged, client records may transfer as part of that transaction.
6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure how our advertising performs.
We use:
- Google Analytics, to understand site traffic and visitor behavior
- Google Tag Manager, to manage the tracking tags on our site
- Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing. Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads for The Handy Bro to you on Google and across the web based on your past visits to our site.
Third-party vendors, including Google, use first-party cookies (such as the Google Analytics cookie) and third-party cookies together to inform, optimize, and serve ads based on your past visits to our website.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. How Long We Keep Information
We keep client and job records for as long as needed to provide services, honor our workmanship guarantee, resolve disputes, and meet tax, insurance, and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see Section 9), subject to records we are required to keep.
9. Your Rights and Choices
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction or deletion, opt out of marketing emails by clicking unsubscribe, opt out of text messages by replying STOP, opt out of personalized advertising using the links in Section 6, or ask us not to photograph your completed project.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA), you have the right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and share; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising cookies described in Section 6 may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law.
